Tote Fernández is a Professional Drummer / Educator located in Montevideo, Uruguay, in South America.
He was born in April 28th, 1988 in Montevideo, Uruguay.
In demand versatile session drummer in Uruguay playing with a lot of different artists of various musical genres (Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz, Fusion, Metal, Hip Hop, Candombe, etc.) in live situations as well as in the recording studio.
He also plays with regional and international artists from Brazil, Argentina and USA.
He works as a private drum instructor and educator/clinician since 2008 owning his private drum teaching facility with an average of 30 students per week in Montevideo, Uruguay, giving drum clinics in Uruguay as well as in other countries.
Also gives Skype lessons to students abroad.

Uruguayan Rock/Pop band since 2003 with 15 years in the local music scene with whom he has recorded 3 studio albums and toured all over Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
Regarded as one of Uruguay’s most versatile and complete drummers, as well as for his technical ability on the instrument, his defined, solid and articulated sound, his interpretative energy, vast knowledge of musical repertoire, and his professionalism and easygoing personality to work with.
Tote started playing and taking drum lessons at the age of 12.
In Uruguay he studied drums with great Uruguayan drummers and teachers such as Sergio Garbi and José Luis Pérez (Drummer with Yussef Lateef, Charles Moore, Jon Anderson among others).
He also studied drums and teaching with renowned international drummers and educators Dom Famularo (USA) and Bruce Becker (USA).
