Canopus artist, Johan Svensson, is a well known drummer and musician in many circles throughout the world. Besides touring extensively with pop sensation Brittany Spears, Svensson is also the founder of the epically renowned drum group, Conrytmo, which is also endorsed by Canopus Drums. Svensson, a Swedish native and current California resident, began his career in the fifth grade when he was introduced to music. By the age of 14 Svensson was playing professionally and by the age of 18 he began teaching drums. After subsequently studying at The Berklee College of Music in Boston, Svensson went on to get a masters degree in music and from there he has amassed an impressive body of work that includes playing, performing, and/or recording virtually every style of music. In the opinion of many drum connoisseurs in the industry, Svensson is a first call.
In developing and performing with Conrytmo, Svensson has gone big and essentially developed one of the most entertaining and impressive drum groups in the world.
