François Tanfin is a drummer, musician and educator.
After studying drums and classical percussion, he had a big interest in playing jazz and funk during his trainning at the Conservatory of Bourges. Then, he realized metal music was the world he wanted to explore.
For the past 15 years, he has been really active in the central area of France, playing and recording for classical orchestras, metal and hip-hop bands, touring in France and Belgium.
All these experiences have brought him to develop identity and versatility in his drumming.
Today, François is playing, composing and regularly touring for two different projects : Mathem And Tricks (math-metal) and I’ve Learned (metal-core).
He’s also an independant drums teacher and a sound technician.
