Erick Carrillo, was born on July 25, 1968, in CDMX.
He began his career at the age of 10, studying at the Musicians Union, and later at Escuela Superior Of Música, in the jazz workshop with Andreas Lūscher and Enrique Valadez, standing out for his skills and his great strength in play the instrument. In 1991, he takes courses in San Diego, California, with the Latin music drummer Robby Ameen.
He is positioned as a session and recording musician for different performers such as: Hermanos Castro, Gualberto Castro, Ricky Martin, Amanda Miguel, Diego Verdaguer, Enrique Heredia “El Negri (international), Armando Manzanero, Cristian Castro, Secret Garden (international) , Rodolfo Muñiz, Yekina Pavón, Carlos Cuevas, Lupita D’Alessio, Sentidos Opuestos, Kabah, Moenia, Magneto, Mercurio, José María Napoleón, Francisco Céspedes, José Joel, María Conchita Alonso, Samo, The greats of the OTI Festival (Krystal, Jesús Monarrez, Benito Castro, Imelda Miller, Clayton) among other artists. He stepping on the most prominent national and international stages.
