As an in-demand up and coming session drummers in Toronto, Bennett is using his unique knowledge of drum sounds, engineering skills, and overall musicianship to carve out a musical and collaborative path in today’s music industry. As a drummer, he has played with the likes of Rachel Bobbitt, Justice Der, Danny Webster, Mateo Mancuso, Dave Hjin, Hector Hektor, Jeremy Seventy, and many more. In addition to being a sideman, Bennett has also directed, played in, and arranged for his own creation – The Logins – a funk group made up of some Toronto’s finest young musicians. Having spent time at Humber, Bennett studied under Canadian heavy-weights including Larnell Lewis, Mark Kelso, Lorne Nehring, and Barry Romberg. All of this musical knowledge makes up only a fraction of Bennett’s capabilities, as he also works as a full-time audio engineer at Night Light Studio – a brand-new recording space in Brampton, Ontario. As a highly requested live drummer, he’s known for his simple and musical approach, along with the positive energy he brings to the stage. After only a short time in Toronto, he has already had a huge impact on all the projects he’s been apart of, with lots more in store.
