Longtime Canopus accessories artist, Curt Bisquera, was born and raised in Santa Maria, California. Curt is a 30+ year veteran of the music and entertainment industry and he has toured and/or recorded with such marquee international acts including, Sir Elton John, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Pharrell Williams, Morris Day & The Time, Leslie Odom, Jr., Josh Groban, Celine Dion, Huey Lewis, Sarah McLachlan, John Legend, Lana Del Rey, Junkie XL, Hans Zimmer, Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, Christopher Cross, Johnny Hallyday, Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini, Michel Polnareff, and many more. Curt attended The Musicians Institute (1984-85) and he also studied with Joe Porcaro and Ralph Humphrey. Curt uses a Canopus “Vintage Snare Wire” which he tells us are on every snare drum he owns.
