Our original cymbal stand has a simple design with vintage taste. Specially designed leg structure allows for effective cymbal setting and stable fixture, unlike other stands in this category. Joints are covered with nylon bushes for extra strength and protection for all locking parts. This stand is very light weight and compact when folded up.

The Canopus light weight hardware is top notch! The hihat, snare, and cymbal stands all have the most important adjustments to capture the best sound from your instrument and for any positioning possible. It`s all so sturdy and easy to breakdown!
With the package deal comes a TSA approved travel bag, which you can fit all the above mentioned stands + extra items such as drum pad, sticks, Canopus hybrid throne base, floor tom legs, foldable drum rug, and a giant roll of of duct tape.....and it all still comes in under the weight regulations for flying! I`ve been using the Canopus light weight hardware for fly-in dates on the last few Derek Woods Band tours and it`s been holding up with no issues as expected on the current "Lucky 13 US Tour 2025"!

I’ve been using Canopus Light Weight Hardware for years, in the studio and on the road. Very light and very reliable, the stands never fall and slip irrespective of the weight of the cymbals or the wind at outdoor venues, the screws can be tighten as much as I like, they never strip. I have one set of this hardware in the studio and another one in a bag ready to go to the gig. Highly recommended and essential drummer’s gear.

I just love the Canopus Lightweight Hardware. I haven been using them since I play Canopus and they came in handy many times. They are very lightweight, which is great for carrying the hardware around. They fold up very small, so I can fit them into much smaller cases, which helps reduce case sizes and makes things easy to store. I am actually still using my first stands, which I got about twenty years ago!
Besides being very practical, they also look great, if you are into the vintage look.
I highly recommend them!
