Till was born and raised in Braunschweig, Germany. His musical journey began early, as he started playing drums at the age of three and performed his first gig by the age of nine. By six, Till had also commenced formal studies in classical piano.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Till collaborates with a diverse roster of artists across various genres. Most recently he toured with Amelia Moore in the US and Canada. In 2022 he joined Clinton Kane on his sold-out U.S. tour, contributing both drums and piano. Since 2021, Till has been the drummer for Emmy-winner John Tesh’s Big Band. In 2019, he played drums, piano, and managed backing tracks for Jaymes Young’s North American fall tour. His versatility has also led him to work with artists such as classical guitarist Almer Imamovic, pop artists Rosie Darling, Caleb Hearn, and Emily Vaughn, French jazz and chanson singer Jessica Fichot, and The Voice Germany winner Julian Martel, among others.
In Germany, Till had the privilege of studying privately with renowned drummers Benny Greb, Jost Nickel, and Stephan Emig. After completing high school, he attended the Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena, where he is now a member of the drum faculty. While pursuing his Associate of Arts Degree in Drum Performance, Till collaborated with prominent musicians including Allen Stone, Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa, Dancing with the Stars), Steve Porcaro (Toto, Michael Jackson), Art Alexakis (Everclear), David Garfield (Boz Scaggs), and Denny Dias (Steely Dan).
Before relocating to Los Angeles, Till performed and recorded with several singer-songwriter and pop/rock artists in Germany, including Ricky Lawson (Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder) and Alex Lys (Cassandra Steen). He has also won nationwide competitions such as “Jugend Musiziert” and the “DrumHeads!!-Playalong Contest.”
