Kevin Gao is a Chinese born drummer, band leader, producer and composer currently based in Shanghai, China. Being one of the youngest drummer on the scene, he has performed at renowned festivals and venues in almost all genres.
Graduated from Berklee College of Music, Kevin Gao moved to Beijing to pursue a career as an independent drummer. He has performed and collaborated with some of the best musicians in China, like Nathaniel Gao, Zhiwen Yong, Jianyi Huang, etc. He also collaborated with musicians in the Alternative/Electronic music scenes, like Voision Xi, Fishdoll, the YADAE band.
