New York native and long-time Canopus endorser (accessories only) Jason Sutter is a popular and in-demand drummer and artist. The iconic drummer has appeared and/or recorded with many marque international acts such as Cher, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Marilyn Manson, Smash Mouth, Foreigner, Vertical Horizon, Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Chris Cornell, Letters To Cleo, The Rembrandts, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, The Campfire Girls, American Hi-Fi, Butch Walker, Our Lady Peace, Dean, Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) and, the New York Dolls, just to name a few. Sutter also brings an impressive educational background as he obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas (music education) as well as a master’s degree from the University of Miami (orchestral percussion). Since moving to the Los Angeles area Sutter has continued to build a very impressive artist profile as he has made numerous television appearances including stints on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and The Late Show with David Letterman. Jason has also worked in connection with Broadway productions as he helped develop (as well as being an original cast member and musician) the ever popular Broadway musical “Rock Of Ages” (2006). Sutter also regularly appears as a clinician conducting drum clinics and lectures throughout the world. For the year 2020 Jason is slated to embark on an extensive tour with Cher.
