Charlie Steiner

Charlie Steiner is a drummer and teacher based in New York City. He has played at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Ornithology Jazz Club, Shakori Hills Music Festival, Mercury Lounge, Bowery Electric, Tavern On The Green, The Knitting Factory, and many other venues around the world. He has shared the stage with artists and bands such as: Stephen Scott, Bruce Edwards, Danny Walsh, Richie Cole, Patrick Bartley, 79.5, Antonio Madruga, and Joe Cohn. In addition to performing, he teaches students of all age groups and experiences at schools and privately. He attended the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied Jazz Drum Performance with John Riley and Kendrick Scott.
