Rey Vinoya is a Filipino jazz drummer and musician, and a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Music. Known for his musical versatility, dynamic sensitivity, and deep grounding in the jazz tradition, he has established himself as an active presence in the Philippine jazz scene.
Throughout his career, Rey has performed with some of the country’s respected jazz artists and ensembles, including Simon Tan, Tots Tolentino, Bob Aves, Skarlet Swing Machine,Ronald Tomas Nonet and Lampano Alley. His performance experience also extends internationally through collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Makoto Kuriya, Sylvain Gagnon, and Pekka Pylkkänen.
