Matty Alger is a drummer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and owner of The Cabin Studio. As a teenager, he lived and studied music in São Paulo, Brazil, returning to the states to attend Berklee College of Music and while in Boston completed studies with Gary Chaffee. Matty has gone on to appear on many records and film scores including Disney’s “Wreck it Ralph”. He has recorded/toured with Ben Harper, Charlie Musselwhite, Eminem, Rhianna, Roberta Flack, Albert Lee, Grace Potter, Hans Zimmer, Henry Jackman, and Leon Bridges (to name a few), with appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show, CBS This Morning, and The MTV Video Music Awards. Currently based in Nashville with his family, Matty maintains a busy recording schedule playing, programming, arranging, and producing music.
