Description
The 2mm thick solid brass shell provides great resonance at all playing levels – along with a full tone and wide volume range.The drum has been given an atmospheric “corrosion-like” surface treatment – reminiscent of the patina finish on classic vintage cymbals.
In addition, our exclusive hand-hammered treatment has controlled the high harmonics to give a perfectly balanced sound.The tone, with a short sustain and emphasized low frequencies, also provides an outstanding mid-range sound.

A nylon nut is built in the strainer switch CSA-20S.Canopus’ switch is so designed to prevent “loosening of snare wire” during the performance by creating moderate friction on the tension adjustment dial by the torque controlled nylon nut.
