Luis Filipe Bastos, known in music as Pipo Teixeira was born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1983.At the age of 6 he learned the piano at the “Clave de Sol” music school, learning further the guitar and bass at the “valentim de Carvalho” School. A life full of music that only began being completely happy when the drums became his life and his real talent. He studied with Emanuel Ramalho, Miguel Casais and had guidance and advices from master drummer Nathaniel Townsley. Always observant and dedicated, paying attention to what all musicians say and do, always sharp to new ideas, materials and sounds.. he tours all over Portugal as a freelancing musician and plans to go through Europe really soon.
