H.Köbberling is a drummer currently living in berlin/germany.
Since 2007 he is a professor for jazz drums at the HMT Leipzig.
After studying in Hamburg he continued at The New School in New York and stayed
in the US for another 5 years.
He has recorded more the 50 CD’s as a sideman and has two CD’s out under his name („Pisces“ 1997 and „Sonnenschirm“ in 2009).
He recorded and played among others with:
Ernie Watts, Julia Hülsmann, Theo Bleckman, Aki Takase, Richie Beirach, Jan Delay, Benny Bailey, Herb Geller, Ben Monder, Marc Johnson, Rudi Mahall, Alex v. Schlippenbach …
He played concerts all over the world and the following Jazz festivals :
