Hi, I’m Jerry Pollock and I’d like to tell you about my experience using Canopus’ Lightweight Hardware lineup.
I’ve been using it since I began endorsing Canopus drums, several years ago. This hardware is truly lightweight and it has reduced the weight in my trap case by about 18lbs (about 8kgs). That’s a lot especially when you play multiple gigs a week! The thing that surprised me a bit is how strong and solid the hardware is. Initially, I was concerned whether the hi-hat would hold up, but it’s been great for years now! All of the stands are quick and easy to set up and take down.
I use 3 Jeff Hamilton cymbal stands, the new lightweight, infinitely adjustable snare stand and the lightweight hi-hat stand. I play the Neo-Vintage 4-piece jazz kit: 6.5 x 14 snare, 8 x 12 and 14 x 14 toms and 14 x 18 bass drum.

I just love the Canopus Lightweight Hardware. I haven been using them since I play Canopus and they came in handy many times. They are very lightweight, which is great for carrying the hardware around. They fold up very small, so I can fit them into much smaller cases, which helps reduce case sizes and makes things easy to store. I am actually still using my first stands, which I got about twenty years ago!
Besides being very practical, they also look great, if you are into the vintage look.
I highly recommend them!

I’ve been using Canopus Light Weight Hardware for years, in the studio and on the road. Very light and very reliable, the stands never fall and slip irrespective of the weight of the cymbals or the wind at outdoor venues, the screws can be tighten as much as I like, they never strip. I have one set of this hardware in the studio and another one in a bag ready to go to the gig. Highly recommended and essential drummer’s gear.

新しいジェフハミルトンモデルの物を愛用してます。 無段階の首も当然いいですが、非常に扱いやすいです。ちゃんと鳴ってくれて、かつイヤな共鳴はほぼ皆無なのでシビアなシーンでもしっかり仕事してくれます。 新タイプのウィングナットとボルトも良い。

シンバルのみならず、ウインドチャイムや木の実などを混み入ったセットに組み込むのにとても重宝。フラットベースにより、思い通りの位置にセットアップできます。
細くて軽いのに、ネジがしっかりしていて安心感がある。畳むととてもコンパクトで、スタンドケースに余裕ができました。

まず一番セッティング時に求める事がストレスなくセッティングできるかなので無段階調整は本当に良い。
CCS-1Fと比べるとフェルトの下のワッシャー部、パイプ末端部のノイズが軽減されている(マレットで演奏する際この違いが著しく出る)
蝶ネジもしっかりして非常に回しやすいです。
僕にとって究極のシンバルスタンドです。
