Message to CANOPUS

It’s rare these days that I get too excited about new drum stuff but a friend swore by these snare wires and I thought I’d give them a try. I was instantly blown away at how much of a significant difference the Canopus strainers made to a few different drums I own. All the things I’m looking for in a strainer, such as, articulation, sensitivity, dynamics and overall fatness were improved. What struck me most about the wires is how the drum retains it’s crack in really loud backbeat situations. Typically, I find strainers tend to crap out, choke and get wonky sounding when hitting the snare really hard in live situations… these snare wires change all that… Amazing!

カノウプスのアクセサリを友人に勧められて試してみたんだ。最近のドラム関連の製品にびっくりする事はあまりなかったけれど、彼らの製品は僕の予想を遥かに上回っていた。僕が所有しているスネア達の音が格段に良くなったのに本当に驚いているよ。発音、繊細さ、ダイナミクス、そして全体的な音の太さ、僕がスネアワイヤに求めている要素の全てが良くなっていたんだ。更に特筆すべきはワイヤの音質。大音量でかなりハードなプレイをしている時はスネアワイヤが詰まった様な音になる事が多々あるけれど、カノウプスのワイヤはそんな事は微塵も無く、安定した抜けの良いバックビートを発音し続けてくれるんだ。すばらしいよ！
