Lionel Boccara is a very active drummer on the Parisian club circuit, having collaborated with Alain Jean Marie, Francesco Bearzatti, Stephane Mercier.
He has toured extensively with Yutaka Shiina (former pianist in Elvin Jones Jazz machine) and has collaborated with Gnaoua musicians in Maroc. Lionel holds a weekly gig in Paris with Sandro Zerafa, where they invite regularly musicians from Paris’ rich jazz scene.
