Alessandro Minetto is an Italian drummer very much in demand in different musical settings.
In the jazz scene he performed live with several great musicians as: Lee Konitz, Ronnie Matheus, Bud Shank, Benny Golson, Michelle Hendrix, Bruce Forman, Larry Shneider, Peter King, Jesse Davis, Donald Braden, Dena De Rose, Scott Hamilton, and he has toured several times with Mr. Steve Grossman.
He played in the most important european jazz clubs: Ronnie Scott’s in london, Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Duc des Lombardes in Paris, Blue Note in Milano and also in Tokyo. He played in several countries as: Holland, Brasil, Viet Nam, France, England, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Svizzerland, Ethiopia, Japan, Scotland, Ireland and in all Italy.
Lately he joined with organ player Alberto Marsico and trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso, the Spiritual Trio, a successfull jazzy interpretation of Gospel music. He recently toured with the famous italian pop band Baustelle. Acknowledged also as a teacher he teaches in the city school of Torino.
