This cymbal stand has been developed based on Jeff Hamilton’s requests for a stand to suit all his practical requirements.
It can be folded to a very small size, features a gearless tilter, plastic tilter sleeve, and pipe caps which eliminate metal-against-metal noise.
Furthermore, it features a thinner 6mm tilter shaft allowing it to accomodate vintage cymbals.

I just love the Canopus Lightweight Hardware. I haven been using them since I play Canopus and they came in handy many times. They are very lightweight, which is great for carrying the hardware around. They fold up very small, so I can fit them into much smaller cases, which helps reduce case sizes and makes things easy to store. I am actually still using my first stands, which I got about twenty years ago!
Besides being very practical, they also look great, if you are into the vintage look.
