Snare drum that controls wildness into an advantage
Built around our brand concept of a clearly defined attack, this snare focuses on the projection and controlled overtones required in today’s music scene.
Rather than relying on the mass of a thick shell, it was developed to take full advantage of the natural resonance of a wooden shell – achieving both a crisp, articulate attack and a well-balanced overtone response.
At its core is an 8-ply maple shell with excellent responsiveness. By applying an oil finish, we intentionally maximize its speed, openness, and rich tonal character.
To manage the liveliness of this combination, we incorporate overtone-controlling parts with a matte black coating, resulting in a tighter and more focused overall sound.
Paired with a black coated head, the drum delivers a firm, slightly “sticky” feel under the stick, while producing a defined tone with excellent note separation.
Retaining its raw, expressive character while remaining fully controllable, this snare truly turns its wildness into an advantage.
