The YAIBA models have inherited the great Canopus sound and have also specialized and refined the concept of the original YAIBA – but they sit in a much more affordable price range. This is a “dream come true” for those drummers who have always wanted to easily have the Canopus sound.

Canopus has made some of my favorite drums for years now, so I’m incredibly honored to be an artist with them and especially proud to be using this incredible Yaiba bop kit.
I’ve always held a fondness for small kits, they can punch if tuned right and are a godsend for load ins. This Yaiba is one of the best I’ve ever played, the easiest to tune with surprising volume and body for its size. It allows me to express myself the way I need to and for that, I say thank you Canopus.
