Alberto Lemoni

Alberto Lemoni, born in 1988 in Monselice

under the province of Padua, falls quickly in love with drums as he’s still very young, thanks to the talent and the passion of his father, Paolo Lemoni. He begins then a study cycle which leads him to the learning of different styles, ranging from Funky to Rock. Since 2004 he continues the classes with Christian Bertazzo and still he refines Fusion and Latin Jazz styles.

In October 2007, after meeting Alessandro Piovan, Alberto starts a session of advanced classes aimed to the analysis of the grooves and the different music styles.

From 2010 to 2014 he attended the professional courses provided by MMI, carried on under the guidance of Alessandro Piovan.

About Alberto’s participation to several seminaries and workshops with great national and international musicians, we can quote: Christian Meyer, Maxx Furian, Furio Chirico, Giorgio di Tullio, Mike Terrana, Benny Greb, Gavin Harrison.

In 2005 he begins his teaching activity, providing private courses for beginners and medium-level students. From 2006 to 2008 he substitutes Christian Bertazzo, teaching drums by the town school in Monselice (Progetto Giovani).

Starting from March 2011, he gives classes by Sweet Basil music school from Albignasego (Padua), taking care of preparatory courses, beginners and medium level attendees. In May 2011 Alberto gets included in the list of acknowledged teachers by the national academy “La Casa del Batterista” led by Carlo Porfilio, with whom he’ll attend several workshops and seminars. Since April 2013 he joins the didactic team of “Drum School” under the guidance of Diego Stacchiotti, whose project was the “developing a serious and motivated approach” towards the musical growth of a student.

From September till December 2013 he cooperates with “Drumset Mag” magazine aimed to the issuing of an index book dedicated to the study and development of the double pedal. Said index book will be split in three articles, coupled with demo videos.

In February 2014 he cooperates with “Drum Club” magazine issuing an article dedicated to the “Mood” within the evolution of the groove. Since September 2014 he cooperates with “La Casa della Musica” as teacher, in a separate branch located in Vigodarzere (PD), Stra (VE).

In February 2015 he’ll attend Sanremo D.O.C. and Sanremo music awards with “la 900Band”, whose project belonged to guitarist Manuel Pegoraro (Marcella Bella – Lucio Dalla), presenting the single “Mano Santa”, in cooperation with Sony Music. Since 2009 he’s been attending and exhibiting during several fairs and national events as endorser; among them we can quote the Percussion Day in Padova (2009), Music Italy Show in Bologna (2010) and Ritmi Show in Milan (2012-2013-2014).

Since 2002 he’s always been intensely active and busy with live gigs, both playing with different bands and as session musician.
