Achim “Acki” Janßen started playing drums at the age of six. He studied drums for Jazz, Rock & Pop at the School of Music in Hamburg, conducted by Helge Zumdieck. Also private lessons with Jost Nickel (Jan Delay) and Roman Storch (Orange Blue).
Acki played in several bands like Court-X (Alternative Prog), Amazing Routes (Country Rock), Big Bands, We Rock, Todays Menu, United Four and the Queen Musical “We Will Rock You” in Cologne.
Since 2004 he is the drummer of Level One. A Top 40 Coverband that plays around 100 gigs the year across Germany.
He is also drumteacher for popular Music at the Kreismusikschule Leer.
