I was impressed by easy tuning of CANOPUS drums on my first try.
I noted the remarkably rich and projecting low sound. I have never heard such low sound with coated head. I have tried many muffling to cut unwanted hitch pitch overtone or secure enough low sound.
But with CANOPUS drum set, I don't need to worry about it any more. When I play at the low pitch sound, the drum head does not slacken.
This proves that CANOPUS drums can produce enough low sound without having an extreme low tuning. |

I have spent years looking for a drumset that both sounds and looks unique. When I first encountered Canopus drums I was immediatly interested.
These drums have a sound that is both attacking and controlled with a nice amount of resonance. They spent a lot of years researching drums and you can tell when you sit behind one of their drumsets. The other thing that interested me was the tuning, you can tune these drums at any tention and they sound fantastic.
Congratulations to Canopus for creating these truly magnificent drums. |

I think that every drummer, after achieving a certain technical level, should have the possibility to develop and apply the acquired technique musically.
Personally, I have been always in the search of a drumset that allowed me to easily replicate the musical phrases I had in mind. I must say, I have played many drumsets, but there was always something that was left to be desired. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to play the Canopus drumset. These new drumsets allowed me the opportunity to easily create tasteful musical phrases with the right sound.
Also, Canopus drumsets are great for playing all styles of music, including jazz, funk and fusion. They are great for studio recordings because of their deep but delicated sound. |

| The drums are not only beautiful, but have a fantastic warm and resonant sound. I am very proud to be playing drums of such high quality. I find that they are very responsive over a wide dynamic range, and give a full tone even at a very quiet volume. |

| What a beautiful kit. The snare drum is a work of art! What an amazing tone with the coated ambassador. I may try a couple different heads for the right thickness for this project, but it sounds awesome right now. The punch and depth of the kick drum is incredible. I can't say enough about the finish. It really is unique. It will look quite beautiful on stage under the lights. I can't say enough about the drums! Every night they sounded fantastic! In the small theatres like "the Warfield" in San Francisco, to the big theatres, like "Universal Ampitheatre" in L.A. and the "Tampa Performing Arts Center" in Tampa, to the big arenas like "The Rose Garden Arena" in Portland Oregon, they sang true every night! |

The toms sound great over a broad tuning range: from a deep and throaty lower tuning all the way up to a singing, ringing, bebop tone...
The bass drum is right on the money..... Punchy with a decent amount of low end.....The bass drum riser makes a tremendous difference as well... |
